If the Skyle X app has troubles connecting to Skyle, this guide might identify why.

Please connect Skyle and make sure the red LEDs on each side are glowing.

  1. Press the Windows key and type “device manager“:

2. Open the “Device Manager“ by pressing “Enter“:

3. Verify that there is a “Remote NDIS Compatible Device“ under “Network adapters“ available.

4. Open “cmd“ or “Command Prompt”:

5. Type “ipconfig“ and press “Enter“:

6. Make sure you find an entry with “IPv4 Address: 192.168.137.1“.

These are strong indicators that Skyle is connected to your computer correctly and that it is possible for Skyle X to detect it.

If you are still having trouble with the Skyle X app, please make sure to install the newest version, which you can find here: https://eyev.de/dl/Skyle.msi

Please make sure that you don’t have any unnecessary anti-malware programs installed which might interfere with the connection to Skyle.
