With the new iOS 15 being released by Apple, it might be necessary to update manually your Skyle eye tracker on a Windows 10 computer. This is only the case if you have an old firmware on your Skyle eye tracker installed or you are facing these problems:
Skyle starts on your iPad, the cursor shows up and
You can use eye-tracking (cursor moves), but the Skyle App can not connect to Skyle (red indicator showing)
or
the LEDs turn off after some seconds (Skyle goes to standby) and the Skyle App cannot connect to Skyle (red indicator showing)

Follow these steps on a Windows 10 computer with internet:
Connect your Skyle with a Micro USB cable to your PC and wait at least 30 seconds (the LEDs should flash once at least). If you don’t have a suitable cable but your computer has a USB-C port, you can directly connect the USB-C cable from Skyle (after removing the iPad from the case and port) to your PC.
Use a browser like Edge, Chrome or Firefox to open the web page skyle.local (or click here: http://skyle.local)
After a short loading time, a web page will show up (Skyle Configuration). In the navigation on the left, click on “Update & Versions:
