We regularly update Skyle’s eye-tracking algorithms through firmware updates. If you would like to help us you can submit a sample recording of a calibration and send it to us.
We do not give your data to any third party or monetise the data in any way. The data is only used to improve eye-tracking for all users of Skyle. The data collection process is GDPR conform.
Instructions
Follow the steps below to create a recording that helps us to improve the eye-tracking algorithms.
Select “Calibration“ on the main screen of the app and make sure you have selected “Record calibration“ before starting the calibration.
Go through the calibration and after the calibration result screen, the following screen will be shown. Wait until the app has downloaded the data set and shows the pictures it has taken.
Review the pictures, select “Next“ and follow the instructions on the screen.
Select “Done“ to upload the recording.
All recordings that have been recorded are saved in the app. They can befound in the app under Settings → Recordings.
We can now use the data to improve our algorithms and improve eye-tracking for everyone longterm.
