We publish firmware updates for Skyle (first and second generation) whenever we have made improvements or fixed bugs regarding Skyle. Our Skyle X app and our Skyle app for iPadOS both support updating Skyle. This article will guide you through the process of updating the firmware through the Skyle X app.
Instructions
Make sure Skyle is connected and the red LEDs are glowing.
Open the Skyle X app and got to Settings → Update. A red badge on the Settings button on the left bottom side will also indicate if a firmware update is available.

Tap on update and wait until Skyle reconnects.
Don’t unplug Skyle during the update progress since this can cause Skyle to update into an undefined state and might make the device unusable.
The process should be straight forward and the upgrade should improve Skyle to give you an even better experience.
